Sri Ramalinga Adigalar (Arutperum Jothi) was born in Vadalur a place near Chidambaram,Tamil Nadu on 5.10.1823 as 5th son of Sri Ramaiya Pillai & Sinnammaiyar. A Siva Yogi is said to have predicted his birth to his mother saying. “You shall give birth to a son who will do good to humanity by establishing Sanmaarga.


Ramalingar states the purpose of his birth in one of his later verses; It is to correct the people of the world whose heart is full of darkness and to gain for them admission in to the sanmaarga sangam and thus make it possible for them the experience of heaven here.

Rajaji was born on December 8, 1878 in Thorapalli Village near Hosur in Salem District of Tamilnadu. Even from his student days, Rajaji was interested in politics. During those days he had the good fortune of being guided by great men like. V.O. Chidambaram Pillai and Subrahmanya Bharati. He came under the influence of leaders who were trying to awaken the Indian people from slavery. Annie Besant, Bala Gangadhara Tilak and others began to appreciate Rajaji.


Rajaji held that the removal of Untouch- ability was very important. He free India.admitted Harijans to the "Gandhi Ashram" which he founded. His cook was a washerman.


Rajaji never cared for caste restrictions. He gave his daughter Lakshmi in marriage to Gandhi’s son Devadas.When Lord Mountbatten returned to England, Rajaji became the Governor General occupying the highest position in


Rajaji lived in an utterly simple way throughout his life. As Chief Minister of Madras, Rajaji had laid for himself a very high code of conduct; others would have found it impossible to follow it. He exercised great caution to see that he and his Ministers remained untouched by corruption. He always went to the State Legislative Assembly ready to answer any question or supplementary. He had asked other ministers also to be similarly prepared.


Rajaji was a very popular writer in Tamil and English, Some of his books have a unique place in the world of letters. He has also translated some Kannada stories into Tamil. He has written more than thirty books. His books on the ancient Roman King Marcus Aurelius, on the Bhagavad-Gita, the Ramayana, the Mahabharata and the Upanishads are all very famous. Even a common man can read and understand his writings. Rajaji said, "My books on the Ramayana and the Mahabharata are my greatest service to my people.


This unequalled intellectual passed away on December 25, 1972. He was then 94. Let us remember Rajaji’s high code of conduct in politics and public life.

Self-styled god man Nityananda, arrested on criminal charges including rape, on Friday [30-4-2010] was remanded in judicial custody until May 12, 2010. The court in Ramanagaram, 40 km from Bengaluru , passed the remand order when Nityananda when he was produced , after eight days of police custody.


"We are in the process of analyzing the documents and memory card which we seized from Nityananda's former disciple Lenin Karuppanan, when he was summoned here for questioning last week," the police said.


Lenin had claimed to have recorded the video clippings purportedly showing Nityananda in a compromising position with a woman. Local TV channels telecast the clippings.


The swami's passport mentions his gender as male, not as transgender. The CID plans to take up this issue, after receiving the report of the Forensic Science Laboratory, Hydrabad, of the 36 video clips of Nithyananda with at least five women. The CID had sent the video clips to Hyderabad for analysis and hopes to get the report within two days.


The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) issued a circular to airports to check items carried by Nithyananda when he traveled abroad. According the DRI, Nithyananda would carry gold plated material like kamandalam and slippers to the US. While returning, he would bring back 24-carat gold of the same size and weight. The DRI asked the customs department to check the material on both journeys.

More than seven weeks after the airing of video clippings showing arrested godman Nithyananda, Tamil film actor Ranjitha on Thursday disassociated herself from the sensational footage, and said the use of the images in the media grossly damaged her reputation and violated various laws. If the Actress would have told this immediately to the police after the release of the videos the Medias will never published these videos.


A statement issued on her behalf by her lawyers, PM Law Chambers, Delhi, said, “Our client strongly objects to being referred to as one of the persons in the video. The said imputation by anyone is causing unnecessary loss of reputation, mental harassment, agony, loss of earnings, which are all actionable wrongs.” The statement also alleged that there was a “huge conspiracy” against her and declared that she would fight until the end to stop what it called “criminalisation of journalism”. Contending that the video clips, which were aired on channels and found their way to the Net, “amount to gross violation of various laws of India, and have malicious, diabolical and destructive intent,” the statement also said legal notices had been issued to Google Inc and YouTube, “asking them to remove the said videos before 5pm on Sunday (May 2)”.


Her lawyers said they would be initiating action against the perpetrators for defamation and other offences under the IPC, besides provisions of the Information Technology Act, 2000.


Referring to some ‘interviews’ with her that appeared in some Tamil magazines, the statement said, “Ranjitha wishes to emphasise that every one of these so-called interviews with her since this incident is totally fabricated”.


Now the video clippings and connected matters are with Karnataka Police and they are investigating the truth. If they says that the images are fabricated all people will fell happy with the Tamil actress statement.

Nithyananda was taken to the hospital on Monday [26-4-2010] around 8 pm after he complained of severe pain in the chest. However, all his reports turned out to be normal and now his drama is over and he is back in the custody of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) police.


“He was discharged around 12.30 pm on Tuesday after the treadmill reports were normal. The condition of his heart is good and he is completely fit now. Sex Saint Nityananda, who is under arrest for obscenity and other charges, made his followers sign contracts to learn and practice tantrik sex secrets and prohibited them for revealing this.


The document was seized by the Karnataka state’s Criminal Investigation Department (CID) while searching at his ashram-learning centre) in Bidadi, Karnataka. The contract says that “volunteers” would use “sexual energy for increased intimacy/spiritual connection, pleasure, harmony and freedom”. The document says “activities” during the programme would include nudity and erotica.


"Volunteer understands that the program may involve the learning and practice of ancient tantric secrets associated with male and female ecstasy including use of sexual energy for increased intimacy/spiritual connection, pleasure, harmony and freedom. Volunteer understands that these activities could be physically and mentally challenging and may involve nudity, assess to visual images, graphic visual depictions and descriptions of nudity and sexual activity, close physical proximity and intimacy, verbal and written descriptions and audio sounds of a sexually oriented and erotic nature, etc.


Nityananda then prohibited the volunteers from revealing the programme or naming him for it. “By reading and signing this addendum, volunteer irrevocably acknowledges that he/she is voluntarily giving his unconditional acceptance of such activities and discharges the Leader and Foundation and anyone else not specifically mentioned here but directly or indirectly involved in the organization, management or conduct of any such programs from any liability, direct or indirect, arising from such activities."


In the name of Holy Saint, Nithyananda was doing these unpardonable immoral activities and telling that he is doing everything according to Indian Constitution. The affected people must come forward to remove his mask and to establish the truth to the world without fear.
